سی پروکسی سرور می تواند به عنوان یک HTTP, mail, FTP, SOCKS, news and telnet proxy server عمل کند.
این نرم افزار با خصوصیاتی چون عملیات های account management که شامل کنترل دسترسی به اینترنت کاربران و کنترل پهنای باند و فیل تر کردن سایت های اینترنتی و همچنین فیلتر کردن محتویات و زمان ، عرضه شده است.
در این نرم افزار همچنین web caching ، کنترل دستیابی های آنلاین،دسترسی به گزارش گیری ها و وضعیت پهنای باند مصرفی نیز پشتیبانی می شود .
